amongst the sweat
the epileptic light
the sea of sound and fury -
there is a goddess
she lurks within
the writhing mass of bodies
flowing through
throbbing adrenaline-high veins
singing her siren song
her smoky strobe-patterned spell
explodes in their eardrums
and they weave, sway, moan
entranced by her rhythmic melody
sacrificing their pain
unto her breathless glory
