So why do they linger?

Situations stalk you night by night, until you just snap.
The static takes over;
And you just CAN'T block out the noise.
Until there is no door.

No one will let you out
Simply because they can't let go.
Not out of love, but out of detest
They can't let go of the past.
So you isolate yourself.
You have a life, you just don't want to live it out.
So you're told its pathetic.
Why, because you aren't blind?
You see you are NOT supposed to be here.
You're supposed to be living another life.
